Hi everyone.
I've been trying to get my VOIP modem working properly, and seem to have hit a brick wall: I've made accounts with voxalot, e164.org and pennytel. I've registered my ATA (line 1) with voxalot, setup a dial plan and tested outgoing calls, which work fine (more or less). I've chosen to use '*' as a prefix to say to use VOIP, otherwise calls go out via PSTN. To start with I had my friends trying to call me, but they got sick of that so recently I've been using the e164.org "test ENUM" feature to initiate calls to my ATA. On my modem, I execute "event show" to watch for modem activity, then dial myself. If I dial my voxalot account from e164.org, nothing happens at all: no ring, no event text. If I try a direct dial (sip/000@xxx.yyy.zzz.vvv), I get a bunch of messages in the event log (I've pasted an extract below), but still don't hear anything from the handset. Other possibly important information: - line 1's status with voxalot is 'registered' - firmware hardware version Argon 432 A+/G/VO v1.00 - software software version 5.07 - in VOIP/General Settings: SIP and echo cancellation are enabled, silence suppression is disabled. RTP port is 5100, region is Australia, QoS is Premium. - port 1 settings: registrar is voxalot.com.au, port 5060, expiry 3600, user domain is voxalot.com.au, proxy is voxalot.com.au proxy port is 5060 - ring & tone is set to 'australia'. - in the "Phone port" section: phone number and username are my 6-digit voxalot account number. display name is my real name, codecs are g729, g711u, g711a. - DMZ is not used. Only a few ports are forwarded (p2p, http). - I've tested with the firewall disabled, and also enabled with a rule allowing all packets through. - I'm in Australia, with iinet (ADSL1) as my ISP Thanks everyone for your help.
